This dataset includes Argentina monthly Consumer and Government Confidence Indexes (CCI and GCI, respectively) as reported by Universidad Torcuato di Tella. Information is also disaggregated by region, expectations, and by level of income. The GCI aims to measure the evolution of public opinion regarding the work carried out by the national government. It is designed to capture what citizens think about essential aspects of the national government, based on the estimation of five dimensions: 1. The image or general evaluation of the government. 2. The perception of whether it is governed thinking about the general good or that of particular sectors. 3. Efficiency in the administration of public spending. 4. The honesty of the members of the government. 5. The government's ability to solve the country's problems. The index is presented on a scale that ranges from a minimum of 0 to a maximum of 5.
